Edison. Westinghouse. Tesla. Three brilliant visionaries set off in a charged battle for the future. The Current War, is the epic story of the cutthroat competition that literally lit up the modern world.
I don’t know why it’s taken me so long to see this trailer, but I went to watch The Farewell, the other day and finally came across this gem.
First of all, The Current War is such a perfect name for this movie. Some movie titles are just plain ridiculous or don’t relate. But this title is so satisfying and the trailer is the right amount of drama and intrigue that it’s a perfect fit.
Also, I’m excited to see my man Benedict Cumber-snack play Thomas Edison against General Zod, aka: Michael Shannon. And is that Peter Parker (Tom Holland) in this movie too? The cast looks great so there’s a good chance I’ll be watching this in theaters.
