When Pewdiepie’s Minecraft dog, Sven, gets sucked into a vortex underwater, all the world stopped breathing.
I’ve never felt so much love for a fictional animal character before.
Here’s the truth, I watch Pewdiepie videos everyday. He puts out new videos everyday and recently they’ve all been minecraft videos. I’m happy to see Pewds gaming again, but more importantly is how fun it is watching a story line develop.
Pewds finds a dog and names him Sven. As his series continues, he clearly establishes a deep connection with Sven as if he were real.
And then one fateful day in the minecraft world, Sven accompanies Pewds on a mission but gets pulled underwater and goes missing.
The sheer terror that Pewds felt (and myself) was so dramatic and suspenseful, I’d like to give a shout out to his editors for putting together thrilling storytelling through his gaming videos.
