Need a distraction? Say no more. This animation in beat with the song “Mountain King” will satisfy the senses.
You’ve all heard the song, “In the Hall of the Mountain King” by Edvard Grieg. And if you are looking at me confused, just listen to the first 2 seconds of the video and you’ll recognize the tune.
Brought to you by DoodleChaos, this animation is perfectly in sync with the complicated rise and falls of this song. According to this YouTuber, everything was drawn by hand and this was his first creation! With over 18 million views on YouTube, I’d say it was a huge success. There’s a certain element of satisfaction we all feel when an animation or beat is in time with video footage.
I’ve heard before from a high school friend that when he listened to music he saw colors. When I listen to music I see stories and scenarios play out as if the music has become the perfect background song to enhance the story. That’s one of the reasons this line rider animation is fun to watch because it was specifically created to be catered to this song.
Also mad props to DoodleChaos because I’m not sure I’d be able to create an animation so in tune with such a difficult song.
