Have you ever seen a barcoder as a musical instrument? Well buckle up and take a seat as you watch what creative souls can accomplish.
Okay first of all, where is this museum? Is this a museum? A pop up shop? I don’t want to make assumptions… but if this place is anywhere else but Japan then I’ll be seriously shocked.
Even if you gave me a week, I still wouldn’t be as talented as this guy who can turn a noise into a sick rhythm.
The barcoder is typically used to scan groceries, clothing, and basically all items you buy in a large superstore. However, I bet you wouldn’t picture it as a possible instrument. Definitely not me. And I definitely wouldn’t have expected to like it so much!
Any guesses on how many times this guy has practiced with barcoders to make a sick beat? Does anyone think he has barcoders at home to practice with? Can you imagine if your neighbors were creating this beat on the other side of the walls from you?
And guess what I just found? That’s right, a sequel to this video where the stakes are raised and he has a friend to help him in a barcode duet. Also spoiler, they start riffing music off their shirts! No, I’m not lying, see for yourself.
