Have you mastered the art of doing a black smokey eye successfully? Neither have I.
The other day I needed to learn how to do a black smokey eye and this tutorial did not let me down. No, it’s not from Jeffree Star but still just as helpful!
I remember the first time I got help with a black smokey eye look. I was in high school and my friend and I walked up to one of those makeup counters asking for a demonstration. If anyone ever does this, be sure to have a hand mirror you can use. Otherwise after the demonstration you’ll still be completely oblivious how to mimic the look.
Now when I need to learn something I turn to Youtube tutorials. And so far I have not been let down. Also note, if you don’t have a gel pot of eye liner, but use a liquid eye liner, that will still work! I dabbed some of the liquid black on my finger and patted it on my lid for that extra black look. I also have tiny hands and likewise fingers, so if you don’t want to use your hands you could also pack the liquid onto a flat brush and apply directly to the lid.
A few things you’ll need in order to replicate this black smokey eye:
Makeup brushes
Eye primer/or cheat with concealer
Black eye shadow
Peachy color eye shadow
Bronze/reddish orange eye shadow
Some kind of dark eye liner gel or liquid eye liner
Mascara
