I remember being a sophomore in high school. The stress of AP classes, trying to finish all your homework late into the night… But we also caused a lot of mischief when teachers weren’t around.
One day of my senior year of high school, our AP English teacher didn’t show up to class and there was no substitute. After 10 minutes of us waiting and realizing no one was coming, we shut the door and held a meeting. We then took the rest of the class time to plan and discuss what our senior prank would be. It was the most coordination our class had ever done without a teacher present, and I daresay our effort paid off well. Also, no one came to class to check on us because we kept quiet and no one spilled the beans.
This video reminds me of what is possible when your classmates band together to do something fun and productive even when your choir teacher has gone missing.
