VFX artists, Niko, Sam and Clint sit down once again to react to some of Hollywood’s zestiest CGi moments: What makes a visual effect bad? What makes one great?
It’s my favorite VFX artists, corridor crew. They’re back to react to some of cinema’s best and worst CGi creations. Niko, Sam and Clint also break down how a complex cgi scene is animated and the level of artistry behind each shot.
My favorite take away from this episode was learning more about how Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse was created. Apparently Miles was purposefully animated in a lower frame rate than Peter Parker to show his instability and clumsiness. But as the film went on, his frame rate increases which makes him looked smoother and more experienced.
