Have you ever been to Claire’s and bought whatever the heck your heart desired? What’s stopping you?
The 90’s are making a comeback, slowly but surely. I’ve noticed this and so has Jenna Marbles.
It started with the fanny packs. One day I’m meeting my husband’s coworkers, and we go on a group double date. Low and behold, Matt’s new male friend wears a fanny pack the entire time! We weren’t going to a theme park. We weren’t going to the zoo or aquarium. We were merely walking around downtown and trying to find a place to eat.
It’s been awhile since I’ve seen any male specimens wearing fanny packs that aren’t intending to go on some kind of hiking adventure. But then I walk past Victoria’s Secret and they have shiny fanny packs! I tell ya, I know what my next purchase is going to be when I (inevitably) get a Disneyland park pass again.
But anyway, back to the video. One of the other classic staples of the 90’s was glitter everywhere! And while shiny sequins are the new “It” product, ‘editing’ Jenna makes a note not to buy any glitter from Claire’s because of the burning reaction she ended up having many hours later. O.O
Claire’s is pulling a lot of makeup from their shelves due to “asbestos” being found in their eye shadow pallets. So if you do gain some inspiration to go on a 90’s shopping spree, just remember to be safe and don’t by any makeup from a low key children’s store, especially Claire’s.
