Tan France from Queer Eye on Netflix, gives comedian and actress, Ali Wong a fashion makeover.
Let’s start from the top.
Netflix has a show called Queer Eye in which five hip, gay men help folks change up their style, but also help them become more confident in themselves and their future endeavors. Tan France is the resident fashion expert and is in charge of the clothing makeover. What I love about him is that he listen’s to each individual before throwing them into something crazy that might make the dresser uncomfortable.
Now, Netflix has created a side series called “Dressing Funny”. No it’s not about putting people in funny clothes. Tan gets to help comedians and notably funny actors/actresses with their wardrobe in a short YouTube video.
In this episode of “Dressing Funny” he gets to (because it’s an honor!) dress the lovely and hilarious Ali Wong. Ever since her specials aired on Netflix, I have been a huge fan of her comedy. Both of her specials are about the labors of giving birth and the aftermath. I always make my husband sit and listen so he knows exactly what happens from the woman’s perspective. But of course, he finds her humor funny as well.
