Let this cover of “Merry Go Round of Life” from Howl’s Moving Castle transport you into a world of magic, romance and dangerous spells.
Who else enjoys a good Hayao Miyazaki film? Whenever I want to relax, I always end up watching one of his movies. Howl’s Moving Castle is an enchanting tale of a girl cursed by a witch who goes on a daring adventure with the handsome wizard Howl. This story was more complicated for me to figure out story-wise, but I still found myself enjoying every minute on screen.
This song, “Merry Go Round of Life” plays during the beautiful landscapes portrayed in the film, and wide open plains filled with flowers and hope for a better future. In a way it reminds me of “Married Life” from Pixar’s Up. But if you haven’t seen Howl’s Moving Castle, I definitely recommend looking into it.

From IMDB:
When an unconfident young woman is cursed with an old body by a spiteful witch, her only chance of breaking the spell lies with a self-indulgent yet insecure young wizard and his companions in his legged, walking castle.
