This past weekend was Daylight Saving Time where we lost an hour in order to save our daylight and have more time in the sunlight. But not for Oskaar.
Every year it seems the US has an ongoing debate whether we should get rid of daylight saving or not. My personal vote would be to abolish the law since it is outdated and I really don’t like changing my clocks all that often even if I’m changing time zones.
But then, I remembered Oskaar. Spoken like a true fan of the sun, I will continue to save my daylight because of him. Oskaar is the cousin of Dave – the brave man who uploaded Oskaar’s dire message to save our daylight at whatever cost and to remind the US how precious sunlight truly is.
For some context, Oskaar lives in Iceland and he only gets THREE hours of sunlight in the winter time. I don’t know what lessee/lysi is but it sounds terrible and no, we never do find out what Oskaar’s dog looks like.
