Have you ever watched those 5 minute craft videos and thought, “I could do that,” or “Looks simple but why would I want to make that?” Jenna Marbles is here to answer those burning questions and prove once and for all how much those videos lie to us all.
My husband first introduced me to this video and I’m glad he did. In the 5 minute craft video, a woman takes a stapler, four pairs of identical jeans, some stuffing and makes a chair out of all these elements. In every 5 minute craft video, it make look easy, but as Jenna’s efforts have shown, is a lot longer than 5 minutes to pull off. Not to mention, a stapler is a terrible way to keep your clothes stuck together.
Also, since when have you every found a cheap pair of jeans? Minimum a “good” pair of jeans costs $20, so four pairs of jeans is $60, plus stuffing, plus all that time you need to take to actually build a pants chair? Why not just BUY A CHAIR?
The answer to that is because otherwise I would not have seen Jenna Marbles try to remake this awful piece of furniture and laugh at how ridiculous a jeans chair actually is when you start building one.
