“Sunflower” is the first single from the official soundtrack album Spider-Man™: Into the Spider-Verse.
The single “Sunflower” re-teams Post Malone & Swae Lee after the two joined forces for “Spoil My Night” from the year’s biggest multi-platinum album, beerbongs & bentleys.
I finally watched Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse early in the year. You might sigh and roll your eyes at another “Spider Man” movie in theaters. However, the animation was a new style and worth the hype. Not only is the soundtrack pretty notable, but the artwork and story-line were also superb.
At first, I was worried the animation might feel too disorientating. The trailers have strong red and blue undertones that feel similar to a 3-D effect but without the glasses. Fortunately the animation is meant to remind you of that old school comic book artwork but does not feel dizzying.
If you haven’t seen the movie yet, I highly recommend it.
