Eyelash Extensions – how do they work? How long do they last? Are they worth it for $200?
Starting at $150 and going as high as $350, Blink Bar is one of the many cosmetic businesses that offers eyelash extensions. No, they are not permanent, and fall out with time, or need to be professionally removed. Similar to fake nails.
The treatment can take up to 2 hours, and then take a day or two before getting used to them. After that there’s a long list of rules.
You have to change how you wash your face. You don’t want to rub off you new pretty lashes.
You have to sleep on your back, or else possibly crunch your new lash look.
You have to brush your lashes. Without makeup on.
You have to wash them differently. Avoid oils that could remove the glue or tear them out quicker.
But you still have them keep them clean, regardless of your makeup routine. Because – hygiene.
So for $200 I can either get eyelash extensions…or go to Disneyland for two days. I think I’ll take Disneyland.
